在这里，用 aren’t来替代，好像是出于要和前面出现的 wasn’t相对应的愿望。
这里应该是状语，不是表语。normally 前省略了逗号而已。没更多的上下文，我只能这么理解。Ｉ后接arent的使用方法已过时。目前只见于反意疑问句中，如 I am late,arent I? 而且用在非正式文体中。正式文体多用am I not?
